The figure reflects the refined Burmese sculptural tradition of the transitional period between the late Ava and early Konbaung eras, with a serene devotional presence and balanced proportions.

18th Century, Late Ava to Konbaung Kingdom period, Burma (Myanmar). This transitional period witnessed the continuation of established Ava traditions alongside the emergence of the artistic vocabulary that would characterise the final Burmese royal dynasty.
