Fine white alloy Mandalay classical Buddha. The Mandalay period was quite short (1853-1885) but produced the beautiful Yadanaporn art (known as mandalay art). The yadapaporn is mainly influenced by the Ava and
early Konbaung arts with some more chinese and european influence.Most of the Mandalay Buddha on the market are from the British period and mainly from the 20th century while this is an example of the art made
during the Mandalay kingdom.
