Old jar used for transporting rice, called htamin ok, made of wood, woven and lacquered bamboo, composed of three interlocking parts. Region of Bagan, Myanmar, mid-20th century.

The lacquer is old but not original, as is often the case with this type of everyday object, which was relacquered when the original lacquer had worn out.

40 cm in height for 40 cm in diameter.
