China - 5 Wind Winds to Communist Scenes - Revolution Period
Very interesting and rare painted wooden screen depicting scenes from the period of the communist revolution. It is composed of five vents, each composed of four elements. This is a small upper panel decorated with flowers, a panel depicting a scene from early Communist times, a small panel carved in the Minguo style and a panel lower than the floral decoration. The whole thing is lacquered. Very good general condition and very nice patina.
Period: Beginning of the Revolutionary Period - Republic of China.
